Benefiting every middle and high school student, this class will teach the power of saving and investing, and basic skills in the management of personal finances. Our instructor is Dr. Jeff Hamsley, who is a certified Financial Peace University counselor, whose teaching experience includes topics such as banks, investments, insurance, stocks, credit cards, and financial aid for college. We also have two additional instructors: a CEO of a local Credit Union and an Investment Officer from First Tennessee. Becoming financially savvy is an indispensable part of every young person’s education, to be money-wise from the start instead of stumbling through their lives learning by trial and error.
